Set in approximately 1500 acres of well managed farmland and wooded countryside, approximately 8 miles from Liverpool City Centre, the Blundell of Crosby Estate has been the home to the Whitlock Blundell family for 22 generations since 1189. The Estate is steeped in history with William Blundell “the Cavalier” having fought in the Civil War and William Blundell “Fundator” having built the village church in Little Crosby in 1847, one of the first Catholic churches to be built in England after the Reformation. With so many horses now in the Merseyside area and so few opportunities available to exercise them safely, the Estate has taken the decision to provide an off road horse riding facility along 4 miles of the Blundell of Crosby Estate taking in picturesque scenery to include field headlands, farm tracks and woodland
